A while ago, I alerted you to the “Nottingham Knockers” which refers to individuals often young men 

who engage in doorstep selling.  These males sometimes use deceptive tactics to obtain money or information.

They may offer household products at inflated prices or try and identify vulnerable homes for potential burglaries. 

Sadly, we are still receiving calls or this nature.

We advise residents to be vigilant and not to purchase anything or share personal details with any door to door sellers.

Recently, one of these “sellers” followed an elderly lady into her home, uninvited and was very intimidating.

We ask you to report any suspicious activity to 101, 

Say NO to uninvited traders or sellers that appear at your doorstep.
