We have been working hard in Whitchurch & Tongwynlais targeting vehicles causing obstructions and checking abandoned vehicles.

Recently officers have removed a vehicle parked on Velindre Road, which was blocking 2 driveways, causing an obstruction to the highway. This prevented a resident from getting their vehicle off their drive and meant they missed an important appointment.

We have also removed an abandoned vehicle from the Hollybush Estate. The vehicle had been damaged as a result of Anti-Social Behaviour and was left insecure. We had received lots of complaints from residents regarding this vehicle, which was also causing a nuisance as to where it had be parked.

Thank you for your help. It is only by the police and the public working together that we can prevent and detect crime and deal with Road Traffic Offences.
