Parking

Hello Resident

South Wales Police are working to tackle your parking issues outside the local primary schools.

Inconsiderate or illegal parking can put pedestrians and other road users in danger. It can also create an obstruction for emergency vehicles. Parking on double yellow lines, hatched no parking areas outside a school cause unnecessary risk to the public accessing the school at drop off and pick up times.

Local officers will be patrolling these areas when the schools return after May half term.

While some enforcement activity is carried out jointly with partners (relevant local authority employ parking enforcement officers rather than the police), often problems can be alleviated through awareness and education, or other practical measures.
