South Wales Police Family Fun Day 2025 - Come Join Us!

South Wales Police Family Fun Day is back again this year and will take place on Saturday, June 7, at HQ in Bridgend!

This event is a great opportunity for you to find out what we do as a service, from seeing our dogs in action to trying on the police uniform.

This is a FREE event, giving you the chance to meet our officers and staff and learn about what we do. You don’t need to bring any form of ID

What’s the Family Fun Day all about?

There will be attractions, activities and demonstrations suitable for all ages, including:

The chance to see our latest operational equipment including our cars and bikes

Police dog demonstrations

Demonstrations by our Joint Firearms Unit

A chance to look around the Police Learning Centre

Kids uniform dress up and an opportunity to meet Billy Blue

Tours of our Firearms facility (fully booked)

Tours of our Heritage centre (fully booked)

Technology demonstrations including Facial Recognition

Stalls hosted by our networks, partner agencies and various departments

…and a whole host more!

Parking

Limited parking is available on Kingsway in Bridgend Industrial Estate, CF31 3RY. 

Parking is limited so it is encouraged to use public transport or walk if able to do so.

By Train: We are approximately a 20-minute walk from Bridgend train station.
