Anti-Social Behaviour
BILINGUAL MESSAGE / NEGES DWYIEITHOG
Hi Resident
South Wales Police are working to tackle anti-social behaviour in and around Clifton Street.
We have this week launched Operation Myrica, a targetted operation aimed at tackling ongoing anti social behaviour and drug related issues on Clifton Street.
The initiative comes in response to long standing concerns from the community about problems in the area. Increased police patrols have already been underway for several days, leading to eleven arrests in the first week.
Officers have also supported the work of Cardiff and the Vale's Shared Regulatory Services this week, supporting their investigation into a food premises, and preventing risks to public health.
Operation Myrica has been months in the planning, involving intelligence led policing and strong collaboration with partner agencies. The aim is not only to provide an immediate visible presence, but also to tackle the root causes of the problems through longer term partnership work.
We encourage members of the public to continue reporting suspicious or criminal activity, and reassure the community that your concerns are being taken seriously. Tell us what you know, you can do so anonymously, and your information will support the work we are doing within Op Myrica.
You can now report ASB happening in your neighbourhood to us via our online reporting system: Report antisocial behaviour | South Wales Police (south-wales.police.uk)
Make sure you report to the right organisation. (More info here: Police or partners: Who should I contact? | South Wales Police (south-wales.police.uk)

Ymddygiad Gwrthgymdeithasol
Yr wythnos hon, rydym wedi lansio Ymgyrch Myrica, ymgyrch dargedig sydd â'r nod o fynd i'r afael ag ymddygiad gwrthgymdeithasol parhaus a phroblemau sy'n gysylltiedig â chyffuriau ar Stryd Clifton. Daw'r fenter mewn ymateb i bryderon hirdymor gan y gymuned ynghylch problemau yn yr ardal. Mae patrolau heddlu cynyddol eisoes wedi bod ar y gweill ers sawl diwrnod, gan arwain at naw arestiad yn yr wythnos gyntaf.
Mae swyddogion hefyd wedi cefnogi gwaith Gwasanaethau Rheoleiddio a Rennir Caerdydd a'r Fro yr wythnos hon, gan gefnogi eu hymchwiliad i safle bwyd, ac atal risgiau i iechyd y cyhoedd.
Mae Ymgyrch Myrica wedi bod yn cael ei chynllunio am fisoedd, gan gynnwys plismona dan arweiniad cudd-wybodaeth a chydweithio cryf ag asiantaethau partner.
Y nod yw nid yn unig darparu presenoldeb gweladwy ar unwaith, ond hefyd mynd i'r afael ag achosion sylfaenol y problemau trwy waith partneriaeth tymor hwy. Rydym yn annog aelodau'r cyhoedd i barhau i riportio gweithgaredd amheus neu droseddol, a sicrhau'r gymuned bod eich pryderon yn cael eu cymryd o ddifrif.
