Illegal off road bikes

Hello , as part of South Wales Listens one of the issues that you tell us about regularly is the issue of illegal motorcycles driving in a dangerous and anti social manner.

Whilst this is a difficult issue in relation to pursuing and catching these bikes as highlighted in Ely a while ago, South Wales Police are committed to tackling this issue.

I am pleased to inform you as a result of cooperation between SWP traffic officers , response officers and the Police helicopter on Saturday 23 August after being seen by officers to be riding their motorcycle in a dangerous manner, two males were arrested and an illegal bike seized in the Trallwn/Llansamlet area. 

We will continue to use all our relevant powers to discourage and deter these actions .
