Outcome - Driver Sighted Driving on Mobile Phone

Good afternoon,

Last month whilst on foot patrol in Pontyclun, I sighted a driver driving whilst on his mobile phone at school time.

The driver was reported for driving whilst using a mobile device, and has since attended court for the offence. The driver received 6 points on his driving licence, a £350 fine, and £250 in court costs.

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team will not tolerate this dangerous and distracted driving.
