Phoenix Centre skatepark

Hi Townhill & Mayhill residents, 

Hope you're well. 

We have noticed a large increase in activity since the new skatepark has been put into place. Due to this, we have been increasing our patrols in the area and speaking to local youths about good behaviours. The vast majority of youths in the area are behaving well and are using the facilities as intended. However, there is a very small minority who have caused one or two issues recently and have been spoken to by the police. 

We also wish to note that safety should be paramount when using these facilities. Parents should be advising their children to make sure that they wear protective equipment such as helmets to ensure safety. 

We hope you can all continue to enjoy the new facilities in the community.
